This course introduces students to an upper level in the English Phonetics. at the end of this course students will be able to practice the distribution of stress within a word, including simple and complex words in addition to the differenciating distinctive functions of stress in words of the same spelling . Sentence stress as well as aspects related to connected speech will be presented and practised in the second semester.
