General Chemistry
Course Objectives:
This course aims to deepen the knowledge of general chemistry acquired during previous academic cycles. It provides instruction in the fundamental principles governing the organization and microscopic structure of matter, as well as its properties. It also covers the kinetic and thermodynamic approaches to chemical reaction kinetics, which will help students understand biological phenomena from a chemical perspective.
Recommended Prerequisite Knowledge:
Students should have a good command of the basic concepts of chemistry, including the concept of the atom, chemical equilibria, chemical bonds, and oxidation–reduction reactions.
