
Objectifs de l’enseignement
Cet enseignement permet d’acquérir une certaine compréhension des principes régissant
les transformations et les interactions de la matière, le principe de la thermodynamique, de
l'équilibre énergétique, et de la cinétique des réactions chimiques.
Connaissances préalables recommandées (descriptif succinct des connaissances
requises pour pouvoir suivre cet enseignement – Maximum 2 lignes).
L’étudiant doit avoir des connaissances sur les réaction d’oxydoréduction.

Le but principal de la physique en première année (L1) SNV (Sciences de la Nature et de la Vie) est d'initier les étudiants aux concepts fondamentaux (mécanique, thermodynamique, optique) nécessaires à la compréhension des phénomènes biologiques. Elle vise à maîtriser les unités, l'analyse dimensionnelle, les chiffres significatifs et à appliquer ces bases via des travaux pratiques.

This English course is designed for first year (L1) students of enviromental sciences. it aims to develop basic language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) through topics related to the environment. students will learn essential scientific vocabulary, understand simple texts and practice communicating ideas clearly in English.

Animal biology is a branch of biology that studies organisms of the animal kingdom from different perspectives, particularly their development, structure, and functioning. Two fundamental disciplines in this field are Embryology and Histology, which help explain the formation and organization of animal tissues and organs.
Embryology focuses on the early stages of development, from fertilization to the formation of tissues and organs. It explains how a single cell, the zygote, divides and differentiates to give rise to a complex organism. This discipline is essential for understanding normal development as well as certain congenital abnormalities.
Histology, on the other hand, studies the microscopic structure of animal tissues. It makes it possible to identify the different categories of tissues (epithelial, connective, muscular, and nervous) and to analyze their organization and functions. Histology plays a key role in medicine and biology, particularly in understanding diseases and fundamental physiological processes.
Thus, the combined study of embryology and histology provides a comprehensive understanding of the development and organization of animals, from conception to their functional structure. These disciplines are essential in biomedical research, animal reproduction, and pathological diagnosis

The Plant Biology module provides first-year undergraduate students (L1 – Biological Sciences) with fundamental knowledge about the structural, anatomical, and morphological organization of higher plants (mainly angiosperms). This course introduces students to plant tissues, organ structure, growth processes, and reproductive mechanisms.
