This course presents the main principles of Modern Linguistics. It is an opportunity to highlight the importance of Sructuralism in the evolution of Linguistics. Moreover;The course provides an introduction to linguistics, covering the six linguistic levels of analysis: phonetics and phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and discourse analysis. It aims to develop students' knowledge and understanding of language and its analysis.

This course aims to improve students’ understanding and practical use of English language structure. It focuses on developing accuracy and clarity in academic and professional communication through the study of key grammatical components. Students will explore different types of phrases (noun, verb, adjectival, and adverbial), conditional and ifclauses, question formation, reported speech, and active and passive structures. The content will be taught through explanation, guided practice, and communicative activities to enhance both written and spoken performance.
