Oral Expression Module – Second Year 

🎯 General Objective

By the end of the module, students should be able to communicate effectively and fluently in spoken English in academic, professional, and everyday contexts.

📌 Specific Learning Objectives

1️⃣ Linguistic Objectives

Students will be able to:

• Improve pronunciation, stress, and intonation.

• Use appropriate vocabulary for academic and general topics.

• Produce grammatically accurate spoken discourse.

• Use discourse markers appropriately (e.g., however, in addition, on the other hand).

• Avoid L1 interference in oral production.

2️⃣ Communicative Objectives

Students should be able to:

• Express opinions clearly and confidently.

• Agree and disagree politely.

• Ask and answer questions effectively.

• Clarify and reformulate ideas.

• Summarize spoken or written information orally.

3️⃣ Interactive Skills
