Oral Expression Module – Second Year
🎯 General Objective
By the end of the module, students should be able to communicate effectively and fluently in spoken English in academic, professional, and everyday contexts.

1️⃣ Linguistic Objectives
Students will be able to:

Improve pronunciation, stress, and intonation.

Use appropriate vocabulary for academic and general topics.

Produce grammatically accurate spoken discourse.

Use discourse markers appropriately (e.g., however, in addition, on the other hand).

This course is designed for L2 students. It allows them to learn detailed rules of the different stress patterns and the most important aspects of connected speech what makes them able to master pronunciation of the English language.

After being introduced to the foundational concepts of the module, along with the main steps in the research process as a whole, this semester is dedicated to an in-depth exposure to the first three steps of the research process, which are: the identification of a research topic, reviewing the literature, and formulating the research questions/hypothesis.
