
Prior to embarking on an experimental study, it is imperative to comprehend the prevailing state of scientific knowledge to ensure the judicious placement of the research project and the articulation of the appropriate scientific inquiry. For a future research professional, particularly in the constantly evolving field of biology, scientific and technological monitoring, selecting relevant reference articles, and writing a scientific review are essential skills. The aim of this course is to teach students the basics of doing research for documentaries. It aims to equip students with the skills needed to define a topic of study. It also aims to equip them with the skills needed to formulate a rigorous research question. And it aims to equip them with the skills needed to select the most appropriate research strategy to address it. Students will learn to navigate the modern information ecosystem while developing a critical approach to sources.
