This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts of computer science, computer systems, algorithms, and programming. It covers the evolution and basic operation of computers, hardware and software components, information coding, operating systems, and the fundamental concepts of algorithms and programming.
Students will progressively learn how to analyze simple problems, represent algorithms using flowcharts, and apply basic programming concepts such as variables, data types, operators, input/output operations, and control structures.
