Irrigation and drainage السقي و صرف المياه

The "Irrigation and Drainage" course aims to introduce students to the principles, techniques, and tools for the rational management of water in agriculture — both for its controlled supply (irrigation) and its removal (drainage).
The first part, devoted to irrigation, presents the fundamental concepts: crop water requirements, main irrigation methods (surface irrigation, sprinkler irrigation, micro-irrigation), irrigation networks, and their design parameters. It also addresses the problems of soil salinity in arid and semi-arid regions.
The second part, dedicated to drainage, deals with the effects of excess water on soil and crops, as well as drainage and reclamation techniques (surface and subsurface).

يهدف مقرر " السقي وصرف المياه " إلى تعريف الطلبة بالمبادئ والتقنيات والأدوات الخاصة بالإدارة الرشيدة للمياه في الزراعة، سواء من حيث تزويدها بشكل منظم (الري) أو تصريفها (الصرف).

الجزء الأول، المخصص للسقي، يتناول المفاهيم الأساسية مثل احتياجات المحاصيل الزراعية من الماء، والطرق الرئيسية للسقي (الري السطحي، الري بالرش، الري بالتنقيط)، إضافة إلى شبكات الري ومعايير تصميمها. كما يتطرق إلى مشكلات ملوحة التربة في المناطق الجافة وشبه الجافة.

أما الجزء الثاني، المخصص لصرف المياه، فيتناول تأثيرات زيادة المياه على التربة والنباتات، وكذلك تقنيات الصرف واستصلاح الأراضي سواء السطحية أو الباطنية.

Le cours Irrigation et Drainage vise à initier les étudiants aux principes, techniques et outils de gestion rationnelle de l’eau en agriculture, tant pour son apport contrôlé (irrigation) que pour son évacuation (drainage).

La première partie, consacrée à l’irrigation, présente les éléments fondamentaux : les besoins en eau des cultures, les principales techniques d’arrosage (gravitaire, aspersion, micro-irrigation), les réseaux d’irrigation et leurs paramètres de dimensionnement. Elle aborde également les problèmes de salinité en zones arides et semi-arides.

La seconde partie, dédiée au drainage, traite des effets des excès d’eau sur le sol et les cultures, des techniques d’assainissement (superficiel et souterrain)
