This manuscript is intended for third-year Electrotechnics students at the University of Relizane. Its primary objective is to provide them with a deep understanding of industrial maintenance, covering both operational aspects and management/organization, while also training them in the installation and troubleshooting of motors, generators, and control devices for both direct and alternating current.
It also emphasizes its role as a vital financial investment for ensuring equipment reliability and safety. Furthermore, it highlights the responsibility of maintenance in risk management for industrial workers and its critical involvement during production shutdowns, which necessitates a broad and diverse industrial network, often based on subcontracting.
